General Summary
Complete preventative maintenance and general repairs on tractors and trailers to maintain the safe operation of fleet.

Job Functions and Responsibilities

1. Complete preventative maintenance on tractor/trailers.
2. Perform minor repairs (lights, wheel seals, etc.).
3. Mount and dismount tires.
4. Diagnose problems for repairs.
5. Start trucks in winter.
6. Keep work area clean.

Working Conditions

• Environment - Diesel shop, odors and noises associated with diesel shop environment.
• Hours of work - Full or part-time hours as scheduled on rotating 4-day schedule. Diesel shop operates six days a week.
