General Summary
Complete preventative
maintenance and general repairs on tractors and trailers to maintain
the safe operation of fleet.
Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Complete preventative maintenance on tractor/trailers.
- Perform minor repairs (lights, wheel seals, etc.).
- Mount and dismount tires.
- Diagnose problems for repairs.
- Start trucks in winter.
- Keep work area clean.
Working Conditions
- Environment - Diesel shop, odors and noises associated with
diesel shop environment.
- Hours of work - Full or part-time hours as scheduled on
rotating 4-day schedule. Diesel shop operates six days a week.

Employment/Selection Criteria
